Bringing the vision to life.
Sharing a passion for Ashe County and golfing, two brothers, Ed and Mark Vannoy and longtime friend, Dr. Ritz Ray, always aspired to develop a first-class championship golf community. In 1989 they found the ideal tract of land along the beautiful New River. From there, the vision for Jefferson Landing came to life.
In 1990 construction for a golf course designed by PGA Tour Professional Larry Nelson began. This layout in its unspoiled Blue Ridge Mountain setting would eventually earn the course and community numerous awards.
Years later, Ed and Linda Rodgers, also avid golfers and mountain enthusiasts, saw the vast potential the beautiful resort had to offer. They purchased Jefferson Landing in 2005. The couple continues to develop and enhance the revered community with beautiful homes and state-of-the-art sporting facilities. This is a special piece of Ashe County realty that only gets better with time. |
